Prince George of Cambridge stole the scene at the Royal International Air Tattoo in Gloucestershire as he joined his parents at the RAF Fairford air show for the 75th anniversary of the Air Cadets. The event is hailed as the largest of its kind in the world. This was also George's first UK engagement together with his parents.

The young prince arrived noticeably well-behaved only to throw tantrums until his parents the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge comforted him with their cuddle and the air defenders.

Prince William eventually lifted him aboard an RAF Red Arrows Hawk where he seemed enthralled to have witnessed the displays

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited the show as the Air Tattoo stages official celebrations to mark the Air Cadets' 75th anniversary.

There were over 1,500 Air Cadets who ran the airshow and joined in the celebrations.
